Prepare without pretending to predict

Period reminders for practical preparation, not medical certainty

A reminder can help you pack supplies, refill something you use, write a symptom note, or prepare questions for an appointment. LiamCompanion can help draft the wording and routine, but it does not currently promise scheduled period notifications or reliably predict when bleeding will start. Set the actual reminder in a calendar or reminder app you control.

Remind yourself about actions you control

Useful reminders include checking supplies, replacing a heat pack, preparing comfortable clothing, recording the start of bleeding, reviewing medication instructions you already received, or collecting notes before a medical appointment. These tasks remain useful even when the date of a period varies.

Avoid wording that presents an estimate as a fact. “Check whether I need supplies this week” is more honest than “Your period will start Tuesday” when no validated prediction exists.

Put notifications in a system you trust

Ask Liam to produce a short reminder title and checklist, then copy it into your phone or calendar. Check the notification time, recurrence, privacy preview, and device synchronization yourself. Do not assume a chat message created a scheduled alert.

If other people can see your lock screen or shared calendar, use neutral wording. Sensitive health details do not need to appear in the notification itself.

Let symptoms—not the reminder—guide care

A reminder cannot determine whether a missed or changed period needs attention. If pregnancy is possible, use appropriate testing and professional guidance. If bleeding, pain, or other symptoms concern you, contact a clinician rather than waiting for the next scheduled note.

Seek urgent medical care for severe or dangerous symptoms such as sudden intense pain, fainting, trouble breathing, or very heavy bleeding.

Frequently asked questions

Will LiamCompanion send me a period notification?

This page does not promise built-in scheduled notifications. Ask Liam for wording, then create and verify the reminder in your own calendar or reminder app.

Can a reminder date be used as a period prediction?

No. Calendar reminders are preparation tools and should not be treated as validated cycle, fertility, or pregnancy predictions.
